In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, take weekend trips, try new food, garden and read.įun Fact: “I have only one more class to go before I receive a CSML - Certificate of School Management and Leadership from Harvard School of Business & School of Education!” Candice is excited for a change and a challenge. She has diverse experiences that include working as a reading specialist, third-grade teacher, middle school teacher and, recently, as an assistant principal. Candice received a B.S.in American studies and elementary education from Lesley University, as well as an M.A. She is passionate about working with students, creating positive relationships and making learning relevant and fun. She will teach kindergarten at Ravenscroft.įun Fact: “Throughout my childhood, I traveled most weekends to traditional archery shoots, where I would shoot my longbow for fun and for competition.”Ĭandice Conn will be teaching fifth-grade reading and writing. In addition to teaching, Megan enjoys Sunday morning coffee dates with family, reading, traveling and exploring new hobbies. in reading from Northwest Missouri State University. Megan graduated from Kent State University with a B.S in early childhood education and an M.A. She recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, and is excited to begin a new chapter in Raleigh with her family. Megan Britton has been teaching elementary-age students for the past eight years.
